The reality was that I worked from home and did not get out much. So unless my UPS guy decided to ask me out, there weren’t too many choices. Then I began to research on- line dating and discovered that one in three marriages started that way. One of the most important things I did before I signed up for a dating site was to work on my own healing from my broken marriage.

I wondered, “Would any man out there accept me”? I asked a friend and she stated,” He may be rare, but he is out there”! I knew, even though I had been incredibly hurt, that I had a lot of love to give and had faith that someone would reciprocate that love!
I talked with several men by messaging or phone, and disregarded about 30 men who responded in the first message with answers I knew would not work. But then, I got a response from a man that immediate perked my interest! He appreciated my honest approach and was pleased to find a woman of quality. We began to talk on the phone every night for hours and then met in person two weeks later!
It was shocking to find out it was both of ours first ever on- line date! There was an ease about our evening and we became fast friends. Within months we knew we were in love as we had a beautiful date at the Wimberly butterfly festival. To which I received an e- mail afterward with Kevin telling me that was one of the best days of his life.
My heart melted and our relationship blossomed. And in time he asked me to be his bride. A true love story that I have no doubt included divine intervention from above. Kevin is my angel here on earth. He has loved me in all of my ups and downs with my health. And believes in me and my dreams. We have been married 4 years and he is the best man I have ever known.
