Making ourselves available for those in need! The doorbell rang at 8:30 this morning and I opened it to discover a young man and girl who became homeless. This young man knows me, and has opened up to me before. I was able to give him guidance, give them some food, pray with them, and then searched for and found resources to help their situation. After two hours they were on their way, and I am way behind schedule, and have a ton to do. But sometimes we have to lay aside our needs and be available when others are in a crisis. They needed to know they weren’t alone and that God cared, and I was one who could be the vessel.
